Description:

"S.N." marked blade front and "S" fixed flip up rear peep sights, "4-44" dated Underwood barrel, "UN" Type I barrel band, flat top bolt, rare "U" marked receiver heel, "TN" button safety and "NS" magazine catch. With a low wood stock, fitted with a two-rivet handguard and green canvas sling, and marked "*U*" on the left side, "NPM/FJA" and "crossed cannons" on the right, and "TRIMBLE/TN" in the sling cut. A green canvas U.S. marked transport case, hand marked "Justus T/4" on one side, is included (no information on Technician 4th Grade Justus). Also included are the magazine and oiler.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original combination parkerized/blue finish, showing some bright operating rod cycling wear, and mild handling marks. The stock is very fine, with some scattered light dents, scuffs and dings. The case is fine, with some minor stains. Mechanically excellent.
