Description:

With a "7-42" dated Inland barrel with "U" marked narrow Type I barrel band with "UI" marked swivel, standard receiver markings, early style flip up "L" rear peep sight, checkered push button safety, serrated magazine catch, and milled trigger guard. Early style two rivet handguard and high wood stock with "I" cut oiler slot, faint Ordnance Department "crossed cannons" cartouche on the right side, circled "P" stamp on the grip end, checkered stamped buttplate, oiler, and canvas web sling.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 95% of the restored blue and black parkerized finishes remaining, some light edge wear, small handling marks, and traces of light surface pitting under the finish. The stock is also fine with small scattered dings, and evidence of light sanding. Mechanically excellent.
