Manufactured for the U.S. Army in the 1980s, and later released to the public via the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Globe front, the "U S" marking on the receiver, accessory rail on the underside of the forearm, adjustable hand stop, with a walnut pistol grip buttstock with solid recoil pad and 3 plastic spacers. Included with the rifle is a Kimber peep sight, CMP Certificate, which identifies the rifle by serial number (with the "US" added to the number as a prefix), and plain shipping box with end label numbered to gun.
