The grouping consists of a jacket and pants, both in blue twill in the "channel" pattern. The jacket is of two-part construction. The outer section is chiefly twill cloth, with a white plastic zipper, blue plastic buttons, and two leather tabs on the front. An illegible marking is present inside the front zipper, and the left breast pocket is numbered "774/38". The liner is a cloth-backed shearling material, with a partial rayon liner in the neck and sleeve regions, and two cloth closure ties in the front. The trousers feature a number of pockets for flares and related equipment, with integral suspenders, velvet lining in the knee region, dual waist adjustment straps, "ZIPP" brass fly zipper with "RAPID" aluminum pocket and ankle zippers, and an integral flare gun holster. An aluminum Luftwaffe Eagle breast pin is also included.

Very good, with light wear and stains overall. The right thigh pocket on the pants shows some thin spots, and a bottom snap is absent from the left thigh pocket.
