Manufactured during the early 20th Century and attributed to Texas craftsman, Tom Johnson Jr. who worked for both J.R. McChesney and P.M. Kelly during his life. They are unmarked, as is typical of Johnson's work. They feature 5-point star rowels, drop shanks, engraved nickel single mountings, and straight heel bands with swinging buttons.
