Tom Johnson Jr. Attributed "Double Diamond" Pattern Single Mounted Spurs with Leather Straps

Manufactured during the early 20th Century and attributed to Texas craftsman, Tom Johnson Jr. who worked for both J.R. McChesney and P.M. Kelly during his life. They are unmarked, as is typical of Johnson's work. They feature 5-point star rowels, drop shanks, engraved nickel single mountings, and straight heel bands with swinging buttons. The Jerry Dyck leather straps are stamped with a border pattern. Heel band width: 3/4" Shanks: 2 3/8" Rowel diameter: 1 3/8" Heel opening: 3 3/8"

ConditionFine, showing some bright finish with patches of smooth brown patina and light wear. The leather is excellent with very minimal wear.
