These spurs were manufactured between 1912 and 1919 during a fairly short-lived partnership between two former employees of the famous spur maker J.R. McChesney. These two being Clyde Parker and the more well known P.M. Kelly, of Kelly Bros. fame. Kelly brought in Parker as an investor as well as a partner to run day to day operations whilst Kelly continued to make more tools and machines to streamline the business. The "KELLY BROS/&PARKER" marked upturned heel bands are single mounted with scroll designs in nickel with gal-leg shanks mounted with nickel and copper ending in toothed rowels.
