Manufactured from 1906 to 1936 with most engraved examples noted as being produced before World War I. Dovetailed, beaded blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, and attached front sling swivel on the barrel. The receiver features 85% coverage, fine floral and scroll engraving with star burst borders, punch dot backgrounds, running deer scene on the left side, and checker board patterns on the trigger guard web. The barrel sleeve is also engraved with light scroll forward of the breech. The lower tang is stamped with an "F". Fancy checkered forearm and straight grip stock with inset silver initial plate, and checkered Remington hard rubber buttplate.

Very fine. 85% original blue finish remains with some areas of edge wear, small surface scratches, and sharp engraving. The wood is fine with moderately worn, though well defined checkering and small dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
