Manufactured in 1937. Elevation adjustable Patridge blade front and windage adjustable square notch rear sights, standard markings on the barrel, matching serial numbers on the frame and crane, checkered trigger and hammer with polished hammer sides, checkered back strap, and a pair of checkered medallion grips. Includes a matching numbered Colt "black box", bearing blue-on-white "TARGET" and "PATRIDGE SIGHTS" labels on the end of the lid, a white-on-blue Officer's Model label on the body (listing the proper configuration, 6" barrel, blue, wood grips, 22), and a "Special Instruction" cleaning guide.

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light wear and handling marks overall. The grips are very fine, with some verdigris around the screw and minor dings. The box is fair, with wear, tear and stains, including some material loss on the labels (which are still legible). Mechanically excellent.
