According to the included factory letter, this revolver was part of a 202-piece order shipped to the Railway Express Agency of New York City ("For: W.C. Harwood") on January 15, 1930. Minus the grips, the major features are documented in the letter, including the back strap engraving (though the letter uses the wording "Ry. Exp. Co.", and "RY.EX.AGY." is physically present on the area). Records indicate that Harwood was a Superintendent of Supplies for the outfit, based out of New York City, and his office likely would have been responsible for distributing the revolvers. Fixed sights and standard markings, with the aforementioned inventory mark on the back strap and a pair of checkered medallion grips.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing mild spotting and a few small areas of pitting on the barrel, minor edge wear and some light handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
