Blade front and adjustable peep sights, with a highly desirable 6-groove "1 43" dated Smith-Corona barrel, blued bolt with a canted handle, and a mixture of blue and replaced parkerized fittings. Smooth straight grip stock, with "2" on the forearm tip, circled unserifed "P" behind the trigger guard, "FJA" and Ordnance crossed cannons on the left side, and a flat checkered buttplate.

Exceptionally fine, with 90% of the original finish, showing some mild edge wear and handling marks. The stock is very fine, with a number of scuffs, scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
