Early style configuration, with no stock lug or cutout for a hold-open. Numbered in the "commercial" style with matching external numbers and fitted with straw-colored/niter blue small parts, checkered walnut grips and a nickel finished magazine with hardwood base. "B." is stamped on the front strap in the style of a unit number, indicating ownership by the Berlin Police, and "PIV" inside the magazine well, a marking associated with the police arsenals who performed upkeep and repairs on Luger pistols. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster with faint ink stamp inside the flap, a takedown tool and a nickel finished magazine police numbered during the period of issue to the pistol.
