Fixed sights, with a blank chamber, "DWM" marked toggle, and commercial "imperial crown/(B, U, or G)" proofs on the toggle, breechblock, barrel, and barrel extension. Early style configuration, with no stock lug or cutout for a hold-open. Numbered in the "commercial" style with matching external numbers and fitted with straw-colored/niter blue small parts, checkered walnut grips and a nickel finished magazine with hardwood base. "B." is stamped on the front strap in the style of a unit number, indicating ownership by the Berlin Police, and "PIV" inside the magazine well, a marking associated with the police arsenals who performed upkeep and repairs on Luger pistols. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster with faint ink stamp inside the flap, a takedown tool and a nickel finished magazine police numbered during the period of issue to the pistol. An extra non-matching magazine is included with lot.

Very fine with 85% of the faded original blue finish, showing some light pitting around the muzzle, bright edge wear and scattered spotting. The grips are very good, with a few dings on the crisp checkering. The holster is fair with heavy cracking on the magazine pouch, replaced tie-down strap and belt loop, and a few spots of replaced/loose stitching. Mechanically excellent.
