The Lone Star commemorative rifles and carbines were released in 1970 and shared the same serial number range of LS1-LS38385. This carbine shows all the standard markings and features of this Texas themed commemorative and bears the desirable, previously unreleased serial number "LS0". There is a Lone Star commemorative rifle in this auction with similar serial number (LS0A) which is the previous lot. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the carbine by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% original finishes with a few scratches on the magazine and a few scattered light dings and scratches in the stock. Mechanically excellent.
