Measuring 15 1/4 inches overall, with a 10 1/4 inch blade, demonstrating a differential temper and subtle "yataghan" profile to the true edge, 4 1/2 inch false edge, "ANDERS" on the left ricasso and "JS" on the right. Notes from the consignor identify this as David Anders, active in Center Ridge, Arkansas and an American Bladesmith Society "Master" level smith since 1994. The oval guard, ferrule and pommel cap are German silver with decoratively filed edges, and a lightly curved one-piece stag handle. Included with the knife is a Rowe's Leather sheath, chiefly brown leather with an unidentified dense hide facing and a sturdy brass pin retention mechanism.
