The only markings found are German "crown/V" on-hand proofs on top at the breeches and right side of the actions (manufactured pre- April 1893), "1" on the bottom of the barrel of "B," and "2" on the bottom of the barrel and inside of the forearm of gun "A." The barrels have dovetailed blade and notch sights, silver/platinum inlaid designs, and gold bands and borders at the breeches. The actions and furniture also have tight scroll engraving, gold borders, and silver/platinum inlays. The Schnabel type forearms and fluted grips have shell carved flats. The pistols also feature double set triggers. The case is close fitted to the guns and also include reloading and cleaning tools as well as several casings.
