The case and gold inlaid trigger guard have "AR" monograms. The barrel has "FNI PAR N. GUYOT A PARIS/12 RUE DE PONTHIEU" on top, and the case has "N. GUYOT/ARMURIER/12 RUDE de PONTHIEU/PARIS" on the inside of the lid. Guyot appears to have been a trap competitor for the French team at the 1900 Olympics in Paris and have been a retailer rather than a gunmaker. The pistol has dovetailed blade and notch sights, light engraving accents, Liege proofs, and a finely checkered stock. The case also contains a cartridge case with two CB cap cartridges and two CB cap shells, a horn handled screwdriver, oiler, brass cleaning rod, several rod attachments, and a key.
