Manufactured in 1928. The chart on page 258 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote lists only 463 VH grade .410 shotguns manufactured with 26 inch Vulcan steel barrels. Single bead sight on the concave, matte rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN STEEL", 2 1/2 inch chambers, single extractor, standard markings on the flats including a "000" marking for the frame size, and improved modified/improved modified chokes. The casehardened receiver features light zig-zag and scroll border engraving correct relief cuts in the water table, dual triggers, and an automatic tang safety. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with blank initial shield, and checkered Parker Bros. hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very fine as professionally restored overall. The barrels have 95% refinished blue with a slight brown coloration on the under rib, distinct markings, and light handling marks. The receiver has sharp recut engraving and most of the vibrant case colors. The wood has sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
