Manufactured in 1974 and subsequently masterfully embellished by John Adams Jr. of Adams & Adams Custom Engravers. Both revolvers feature matching "C" level Nimschke style floral scroll engraving and silver plated grip straps. Each revolver has an Adams & Adams certificate of authenticity which confirms the configuration and engraving. Revolver "A" is listed as engraved in September 2008. The grips are hand numbered to each gun. Includes a Colt marked hardwood case that holds both revolvers as well as an included powder flask, mold, and cap tin. A beautiful pair that would make an excellent addition to any Colt collection or a wonderful family heirloom.

Very fine overall as master embellished by John Adams Jr., retains 99% plus finishes with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with a few light handling/storage marks.
