Manufactured in 1975/76. Although the work is unsigned, the embellishments on the revolver showcase the talents of a professional master engraver. The profuse scroll engraving on a punch dot background is accented with gold inlaid lines terminating in scrolls. The S&W frame address marking is inside an engraved scroll banner. Three screw frame, red insert front sight, white outline adjustable rear sight and S&W medallion checkered target grips. Comes with S&W hardwood case containing tools. An absolutely awesome engraved and heavily gold inlaid .44 magnum.

Excellent overall as professionally embellished, retaining 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finishes showing limited handling evidence and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with scattered handling/storage marks and retaining most of the flock interior with a couple small tears. A highly attractive S&W Model 29-2 Revolver.
