It has a blade front and a stamped, sheet metal four position adjustable rear sight. The breech end of the barrel is stamped with "2/PM" indicating the barrel was proofed fired and checked during assembly. It is fitted with a one-piece, walnut buttstock with a stamped sheet metal buttplate and a set of sling swivels attached to the underside of the stock. It has a unique cocking mechanism, which is actually a large hole on the underside forend where the cocking lever is located.
