Manufactured circa 1908-1914. Blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight, with a solid steel block in the tang sight position. Marked with the five-line Marble Safety Axe address on the left side of the chambers, "CALIBERS-22&44" on the right, and "*PATENT*/ALLOWED" and "GAME GETTER" on the frame. The original buttstock has been removed (but is included), with a leather spacer filling the void in the grip frame and a pair of checkered Marble-marked grips. Included with the lot is a brown leather shoulder holster with strap, a wooden Game Getter box, and assorted paperwork, including a manufacturer hanging tag and a vintage Marbles catalog.

Fine, with 60% of the blue finish, showing a few areas of pitting, patches of gray and brown patina and scattered spotting and handling marks. The grips are also fine, with some light dents. The very fine box and accessories show mild wear and tear. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is registered as a National Firearms Act (NFA), AOW (Any Other Weapon). Although NOT a fully automatic weapon it is still controlled like a NFA weapon that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
