Description:

Manufactured in 1853, featuring a cone front sight, "-ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY-" on top of the barrel, "2" on the left side of the barrel lug near the bottom, the standard cylinder scene, small "COLTS/PATENT" marking (mostly obfuscated), "K" and "G" on the left side of the small pattern trigger guard, and matching visible serial numbers.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 40% original blue finish on the barrel, 30% of case color patterns, and 40% original silver finish with the balance a smooth grey patina or antique brass. The cylinder is refinished. The revarnished grips are very good with some minor dings, a minor chip, and some mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
