Manufactured from 1864 to 1872. Standard Marston markings on the left side of the frame along with "IMPROVED 1864." A firing indicator is on the right side of the frame. The barrel cluster and both grip panels are numbered to the gun.
Fine. The barrels retain 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina along with a couple patches of rust. The brass frame has an attractive aged patina. The grips are very good with a vertical crack visible on the right panel and some high edge wear and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
