The Triple Lock model was manufactured from 1907 to 1915 with this example featuring rare and desirable near full coverage engraving by Master Engraver Cole Agee (1901-1955) and fitted with a full vent rib King Super Target package. Agee's characteristic floral scrollwork on a stippled background is extensive, even covering the sides of the vent rib. The vent rib is marked "S&W-KING SUPER TARGET" on the left side. The left side of the barrel has the S&W caliber marking, and the right side of the frame has the S&W logo. It has the very desirable Triple Lock mechanism, red bead front sight on a mirror base, fully adjustable white outlined square notch rear sight, S&W grip adaptor and checkered Magna grips custom fit to the adaptor plates. Matching serial numbers are found on the butt, cylinder and ejector shroud. The engraving on this revolver matches the scrollwork patterns found on a documented Agee engraved matching pair of Colt Official Police revolvers RIAC sold in 2017.

Excellent as decorated and engraved by renowned Master Engraver Cole Agee, retaining 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finishes showing limited handling evidence. The grips are also excellent with minor handling marks on the bottoms and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. A fabulous example of Cole Agee's work, this Super King Triple Lock Revolver will be a fantastic addition to any S&W collection!
