Description:

Manufactured from 1899 to 1902. Four screw frame, standard S&W markings, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and barrel.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% original nickel and casehardened finishes with flaking on the balance. The grips are fine with numerous scratches near the bottom and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. A very hard to find 1899 variation! Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
