Manufactured in 1959 and subsequently elaborately custom embellished. The spectacular work was done in Ferlach, Austria by world renowned engraver Albin Obiltschnig. White bead front and steel bead mid sights on the matte vent rib barrel with standard markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, full choke, and fine scroll engraving and gold inlaid pigeon on the takedown collar. The receiver features full coverage floral scrollwork and four finely detailed panel game scenes outlined in gold wire scroll borders. The right side features ducks, and the left side features a pointer and grouping of quail. Each animal is rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay. The trigger, slide release, and Crowe toggle safety are gold plated. Fancy figured, fleur de lis bordered, finely checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved steel grip cap with a single gold inlaid pheasant, Monte Carlo comb, and vented recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 inches. Obiltschnig's work graced the cover of the January 1974 issue of "The American Rifleman" as well as in an article on pages 36-37 of this issue. He is without a doubt among the world's finest engravers of the 20th century.

Exceptionally fine as elaborately embellished and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Albin Obiltschnig. 97% fine satin blue finish remains with some small cycling marks on the magazine tube, sharp engraving, and some darker patina in the "in the white" game scenes. The wood is very fine with crisp checkering, some small scattered dings, and attractive figure. Mechanically excellent.
