Ray Anderson began making spurs in the 1970s, numbering each pair starting at "1". It is estimated that he made just over 1,500 pairs during his career, making them quite collectible. The blued heel bands have swinging buttons and are single mounted with lightly engraved silver and copper, semi-gooseneck shanks ending in five-leaf clover rowels.
