A) U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1922M1 Bolt Action Rifle

Description:

Manufactured between 1924 and 1933. The barrel is marked "S A/flaming bomb/10-26" behind the standard blade front sight. The top of the receiver has the standard markings and a fully adjustable Lyman rear peep sight. The bolt is electro penciled to another gun. Mounted on a correct walnut NB style pistol grip stock with finger grooves, and a checkered steel buttplate. Stock is marked on the left side with a boxed "S.A/R." Benecia Arsenal rebuild cartouche. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Rating Definition:

Fine as restored with 95% refinished dark gray/green parkerized finish, some mild edge wear, and surface scratches. The wood is also fine with small dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a "SA/flaming bomb/8-37" barrel, "M2" receiver, and matching numbered (renumbered) "M2" marked bolt. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock without finger grooves, with a sharply checkered steel buttplate. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 85% plus original dark parkerized finish remains with some edge wear, surface scratches, and nicks and dings on the trigger guard and floorplate. Stock is also very fine with small scattered dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
