Manufactured with a blade front sight, the rear sight has been removed to make space for a cast steel mounting bar (similar to the M3 Sniper pattern mounting bar), to which has been fitted with an M82 scope, with the area covered by the rear ring and "7674029" on the front left side. The barrel is an undated Inland manufacture, with a "SI" marked type 3 band, a "*U*" marked muzzle break, and a support member for the scope bar mounted behind the barrel band, with an oval cut in the 4-rivet upper handguard to accommodate the modification. Standard markings are present on the receiver, with a round bolt, milled trigger guard, "J.A.O." flip safety, and an unmarked M2 magazine catch. Low wood stock, marked "BA/CAB" on the left side, "P" and "58" (both stamped and in yellow paint stencil) on the grip, oval oiler cut, "M-U" in the sling cut, and a checkered steel buttplate. An M65 green canvas scope case, marked "MRT/3-10-52" is included, as is a pair of brown leather lens caps.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% plus original parkerized finish, showing some high edge wear and mild handling marks. The stock is very fine, with some minor chipping inside the sling cutout, light dents and mild handling marks. Optics are crisp and clear, with mild wear on the exterior. Mechanically excellent.
