Very Desirable TNW Manufactured Semi-Automatic Copy of World War II German MG-34

This is a unique "semi-automatic" only copy of the very desirable WWII MG-34 machine gun that was manufactured by the TNW Company of Vernonia, Oregon. This weapon has the same outward appearance, weight and feel as an original fully automatic MG, only it fires in the semi-automatic mode. It utilizes a combination of original WWII MG-34 parts combined with some new-made commercial parts and a fully machined receiver that fires in a closed-bolt in the "semi-automatic" mode only. It has a complete original front section (barrel jacket, barrel, bipod etc.) with the original markings of "S/243/1939" on the barrel extension. It has the original folding front and rear sights and still has the original top cover feed tray and buttstock components. The bakelite stock with metal butt caps and metal grip with wood insert are rare features. The right side of the newly made receiver is marked "TNW SEMI-AUTOMATIC MG34/VERNONIA OR." It has a dark blue/black type metal finish overall and is complete with an original WWII 660 marked Steyr manufactured spare barrel, a web and leather sling, a bag of small semi-automatic repair parts with a reprint of a U.S. Army WWII technical manual.

ConditionVery fine with 99% of its current blued finish on the receiver showing wear on the World War II components with no evidence of having been fired since assembling. The spare barrel is in the same condition. These are very scarce as only about 50-100 were actually produced.
