Manufactured in Japan by Howa from 1972-1974, using the same machinery (and a number of interchangeable components) as the AR-18 automatic rifle; the receiver is factory marked with an additional zero behind the "AR-18" nomenclature to set it apart as a semi-automatic, and the original safety markings were milled out, filled in, and remarked in the "SAFE/FIRE" pattern. The serial number is located on the upper receiver as seen on the first 1,000 AR-180 rifles produced by Howa. Additionally, the bayonet lugs have been milled flat. Post front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with a scope mounting block on the receiver, ribbed ventilated handguard, "AR-18" pistol grip, green canvas sling and folding stock.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall, retains 98% original parkerized finish with some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
