Manufactured in 1899 with standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs, pinned blade front sight, elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight, smooth Schnabel forearm with ebony insert and smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Fine overall, retains 50% thinned original blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina. The very good wood has minor dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent.
