Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action Frontier Revolver with Factory Letter

The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 inch barrel in .44-40 WCF, nickel finish and checkered black hard rubber grips when shipped to Hartley & Graham Co., New York City on September 30, 1892. Matching numbers are on butt, cylinder, barrel and right grip panel.

ConditionVery fine, retaining 90% original nickel finish with smooth gray patina on the balance. 85% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very good with a small missing sliver (left panel) and minor dings near or on the bottoms. Mechanically excellent.
