Dovetail blade (sight blade as a secondary dovetail cut into it) front and flip up rear notch sights, claw type scope bases installed on the matte rib marked "G WILKE KONIGL. HOFBUCHSENMACHER (remainder of makers mark obliterated by rear scope base)" in gold inlay, 2 1/2 inch chambers, single extractor, and no visible proofs on the flats. The action is elaborately engraved with floral and scroll patterns with a doll's head rib extension, sculpted fences, matching engraved back action locks and hammers, integral flip up rear peep sight on the upper tang, and front set trigger. Checkered wedge fastened forend and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, and lightly engraved buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches, weight 7 lbs. 6 oz.

Fine. The barrels have and overall brown/gray patina with small dings and nicks, traces of pitting, and some spotting. The action and locks have an overall gray patina with well-defined engraving, and some light spotting. The reoiled wood is very good with worn checkering (heavily on the forearm), nicks and dings throughout, and oxidation on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
