Beretta" and "Express" on the left side of the upper barrel, gold inlaid "1" on the solid rib at the breech, automatic ejectors, beaded blade front sight, matted two leaf rear sight (one folding leaf, one fixed), Swarovski 1.25-4x24 scope and Italian proofs with 1988 date code ("AT"). Coin finished side lock action with profuse tight scroll engraving, "P. BERETTA" inside a banner on each side, wonderful, finely detailed bighorn sheep scenes on the side plates and two wolves on the underside, Master Engraver F. Bielli signature near the double gold washed triggers, rolled trigger guard with engraved serial number on the lower tang, and manual tang safety with safety "S" in gold. Highly figured walnut pistol grip stock with fine checkering, forearm hardware engraved to match and gold inlaid "1," engraved trapdoor grip cap containing an extra front sight, raised cheekpiece, engraved cartridge door, and solid Old English Pachmayr recoil pad. Comes with a factory leather bound takedown case with Beretta label on the interior and containing two sling swivels. This rifle is pictured in "The World of Beretta: An International Legend" by R.L. Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus of the respective finishes with a few minor handling marks on the wood and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent. The case is very good with minor handling/storage marks.
