Proofed and serialized for commercial sale, this Luger pistol has the distinctive features of the Navy Model, namely the longer barrel, two-position adjustable notch rear sights, and 1st pattern safety with "GESICHERT" marked in the lower position instead of the more traditional upper. "Crown/N" proofs are present on the barrel, extension and breech block, with a blank chamber, "DWM" marked toggle, and matching external commercial pattern numbers. The small parts are straw finished, with checkered grips and an unnumbered magazine with concentric circle hardwood base. Included with the pistol is a modern custom hardwood case and a barrel rod.
