Manufactured in 1893. It has the two-line barrel address/patent dates marking, "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side of the barrel, "R.A.C." and "K.S.M." inspector marks throughout, and matching visible numbers. "U.S. Army" and "Model 1894" markings on the butt and "K.S.M." and "R.A.C." cartouches on the grips, with the right grip dated "1904". The included factory letter confirms the current configuration as well as shipment on 28 October 1893 in a 600 gun shipment to the U.S. government.

Very fine, retains 75% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina. The grips are very fine with some light handling marks and distinct cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
