Manufactured in 1901. Matching partial numbers are on the frame and cylinder latch. Number struck out and remarked on the crane, possibly by arsenal. "RAC" on the frame, bottom of both grip panels, bottom of barrel, and rear cylinder face. Includes a "U.S." marked Rock Island Arsenal brown leather holster dated 1908 with "J.L.H." inspection mark. Collector's marking "JF/95" in white on trigger guard.

Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue, some handling evidence, and a few areas of light spotting. The reoiled grips are also very fine have been sanded but remain very good. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine overall.
