Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, with the standard slide markings, "FJA" inspected frame, stamped trigger, thin checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered thumb safety, serrated slide catch and arched mainspring housing, Keyes Fiber grips, unmarked parkerized magazine and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel. Includes a modern replacement plain brown box with the pistols number ink stamped on lid.

Very fine, showing 90% of the dark Du-Lite finish, with some mild edge wear, handling marks and spotting overall. The professionally refinished front strap shows a more aggressive polish, with some pitting visible beneath the finish. The grips are excellent, with a few light dings on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
