The revolver features multiple (late 20th century done) professionally cutaway sections to reveal the inner workings. Smooth walnut grips, lanyard loop, and U.S. property number "131/832" on the butt. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Fine as professionally sectionalized with 95% of the original blue remaining, some small areas of edge wear, and handling marks. The sectionalized grips are also fine with some small dings. Mechanically every good.

Round blade front and flat top "U" notch rear sights, two-line, two-block Colt address and patent marking on left side of slide separated by the Rampant Colt, "eagle head/S12" inspection mark on the left side of the frame, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, and flat, smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop. The pistol features multiple cutaway sections to showcase the inner workings, professionally done in the late 20th century. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Fine as professionally sectionalized with 70% original blue finish, areas of mottled brown/gray patina, edge wear, and surface scratches. Grips are good with heavily worn checkering and small dings throughout. Mechanically functions fine.
