Manufactured in World War II with a Remington marked receiver and "9-43" marked barrel. Hooded blade front and stamped adjustable rear sights, stamped trigger guard, stamped barrel bands and standard markings on the receiver ring. The stock is the straight grip "scant" style, with "RA" and "FJA" stamped on the left side next to the "crossed cannons" Ordnance mark, green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, with 95% of the original combination parkerized/blued finish. The blued components show a few areas of brown patina, and the parkerized components show some light spotting. The stock is very fine, with some dark spots and a few light dings and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
