Included consignor notes indicate this carbine was manufactured by Colt as a sales sample for the Mexican government. Similar carbines were eventually manufactured for a Mexican government contract, with most of the examples either never being delivered or returned, and subsequently sold commercially. This example is marked with the Mexican seal and "S.D.N. MEXICO D.F." on the right of the magwell, with standard Colt markings and "M4 CARBINE" nomenclature on the left. It shows standard features along with Magpul MOE pistol grip and adjustable stock, MBUS rear sight, and Knight's Armament handguards. Includes the original box, two total Magpul magazines (one unopened), and a web sling.

Excellent overall, retains 99% original black finish with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some mild wear and minor tears.
