The part-octagon barrel has a small blade front sight, girdled transition point, and no visible markings. The stock at the barrel tang has raised "wings" and incised floral scrollwork. The lock and brass furniture have light engraving. The stock is the Madrid style. Includes a socket bayonet.
Very good with gray patina and oil staining on the lock and barrel along with some light pitting, aged patina on the brass, filing marks on the interior of the trigger guard, mostly crisp engraving and carving, small chips along the forend, a few small cracks, and general scrapes and dings. The bayonet has been browned and has some pits. Mechanically needs work.
