The stocks are attractive walnut with varnished finish and finely checkered wrists. The pair comes within a custom hardwood case with close fitted interior also holding the included round wooden cap box, nipple wrench, bullet mold, screwdriver, pocket powder flask, cleaning rod, rod attachment, case key, sight adjustment key, and patches. Also includes a custom bag for storing the set.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall with bright original gold inlay, crisp engraving, 70% original bright blue finish, smooth French gray finish, crisp checkering, attractive grain, minor flaking of the varnish, and mostly only minor age and storage related wear. Mechanically excellent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with essentially all of the bright original gold inlay, 50% plus original bright blue finish, smooth French gray finish, crisp engraving, minor oxidation, and general light age and storage related wear. The stock is fine and has some minor flaking of the high polish original varnish, minor cracks below the front of the lock and on the left at the barrel key, a small repair in the grain just ahead of the lock, attractive grain patterns, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with refinished exterior, mild age and storage related wear to the otherwise fine lining and an absent key hole plate on the case. Overall, this is a very attractive cased set of pistols marked for one of the best gunmakers from Liege.
