Description:

This exceptional S&W Model 1917 revolver is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside of the barrel, has a flaming ordnance bomb on the frame, eagle head inspection marks, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and barrel. Comes with a U.S. holster rig consisting of a canvas web belt and leather flap holster with lanyard cord. The holster loop is embossed "SUP. CO 10F.A./95" on the front and has the G&K inspector's mark and partial 1917 date on the reverse.

Rating Definition:

impeccable overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish, vibrant case colors and showing very minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The holster rig is fine showing typical flex wear on the leather. Virtually impossible to upgrade S&W M1917 Army!
