This exceptional S&W Model 1917 revolver is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside of the barrel, has a flaming ordnance bomb on the frame, eagle head inspection marks, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and barrel. Comes with a U.S. holster rig consisting of a canvas web belt and leather flap holster with lanyard cord. The holster loop is embossed "SUP. CO 10F.A./95" on the front and has the G&K inspector's mark and partial 1917 date on the reverse.
