"Crown/V" stamps are present on the slide and frame, with the slide marked "RELEASED/BRITISH GOV'T 1952" and the frame marked "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" near the nomenclature; these markings are typically seen on 1911A1 supplied to the British as part of Lend-Lease, and then retained for a time after the war.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% plus parkerized finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks overall. Some dents are present on the slide serrations and grips. The barrel is a later replacement. Mechanically excellent.
