Description:

Developed in the immediate post-war era and officially introduced in 1951, the FAL became a classic battle rifle of the Cold War era, often times referred to as the "Right Arm of the Free World" due to its wide adoption by NATO and other allied nations. With a twelve port, round flash hider, post front and sliding peep rear sights, adjustable gas system, vented composite handguard, one-line Herstal address on the right side of the upper receiver, matching serial numbers on the upper and lower receivers, three position selector marked "S/R/A", smooth pistol grip, and polymer buttstock with solid rubber recoil pad. With 20 extra magazines.

Rating Definition:

Fine. 70% original finish remains with areas of heavy edge wear, mottled brown patina, spotting, and visible oxidation. The grip and stock are about good with numerous dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. This weapon is currently registered as being "LIMITED TO USE AS A SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)" and as such can only be purchased by an FFL, with a Class 2 or Class 3 SOT License.
