The Lone Star commemorative rifles and carbines were released in 1970 and shared the same serial number range of LS1-LS38385. This rifle shows all the standard markings and features of this Texas themed commemorative. It was retained by the factory as a production example for their collection as its serial number falls in the first few thousand and it has a display tag on the buttstock listing the year, the commemorative, and the number produced. The included FN America Certificate of Provenance identifies the rifle by model and serial number, stating that it was previously a part of the Winchester Factory Collection where it was maintained by U.S. Repeating Arms.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finishes with only the slightest handling marks and factory storage grease throughout. Mechanically excellent.
