This is a beautiful as new example of one of the Jubilee series "Gold Edition" AK-74 semi-automatic rifles produced by the Izhevsk factory and imported by the Arsenal Inc company. This specific example celebrated both Mikhail Kalashnikov's 90th birthday and the 35th anniversary of the development and fielding of the "Ak-74" series of rifles. There were a total of 500 of the Jubilee series rifles manufactured; 400 Silver Edition and only 100 Gold Edition rifles ever produced with this specific rifle numbered "0029". They were immediately sold to collectors and museums and are very difficult to find for sale today. These rifles featured all hand selected parts that were given a high polished finish that was then coated with the glossy black outer finish. The right side has gold high-lighted lettering, with a gold colored complete bolt and bolt carrier group, trigger, magazine release and rear sight elevator. With box and leather bound deluxe case with extra magazine, white gloves and papers including the certificate of authenticity.
