Manufactured in 1887. The barrel has the third style legend which ends with "REISSUE NOV. 9. 1880", dovetail blade front, and elevation adjustable rear sights. Mounted on a finely figured smooth forearm and straight grip stock.

Fine overall, retains 60% original blue finish and faint traces of original case colors in sheltered areas with the balance a smooth grey patina. The revarnished wood has minor dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent.
