Manufactured in 1876 as a third model with the serial number stamped in block numerals behind the trigger. The barrel is fitted with a combination Beach front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight and has the two-line Winchester legend. The straight grip stock is fitted with a brass trapdoor crescent buttplate (cleaning rod not included).

Very good. The barrel has a smooth artificial brown patina mixed with reapplied blue finish. The magazine tube also has a smooth brown patina. Traces of original nitre blue remain on the loading gate. The fine brass has a bright appearance. The rimfire firing pin is a replacement. The refinished forearm is good with minor dings and scratches. The buttstock is very good. Mechanically excellent.
